Explore what’s new in Digital Samba 624. You can now share files with selected participants, keeping content visible only to them. We’ve also added a “Lobby sound” room setting to control entry notifications, an upload date display in the content library, an “HD video” toggle on the join screen, and a telephony status indicator for connected calls. Several bug fixes are also included in this update.

Added new room setting "Lobby sound" allowing moderators to enable or disable a sound notification when someone enters the lobby.

Added new option to share files with selected participants. Instead of sharing with everyone, you can now choose who to share with, keeping content private and focused.

Added upload date, shown when hovering over a file in the content library.

Added “HD video” toggle to the video tab in the settings modal on the join screen, reflecting the current video quality state set from the dashboard.

Added telephony status indicator on the phone icon, showing a green dot when telephony is enabled and connected.

Fixed an issue where the whiteboard colour picker was overlapped by the "Public mode" button.

Fixed an issue where the "Create whiteboard" buttons did not work when the shared files folder was open.

Fixed an issue with an incorrect tooltip shown for the blurred background option in Safari.

Fixed an issue where, in certain cases after unplugging a camera during the audio-only broadcast setup, the attendee’s video could still become visible to others even though the camera control was not shown on the toolbar.
