Discover what’s new in Digital Samba 623. This release introduces audio only rooms, enabling fully voice-based sessions without video functionality. It also adds a request assistance feature from breakout rooms, allowing seamless communication when support is needed.

Added new room setting “audio only”, which switches off all video options when enabled, creating a dedicated voice-only room experience.

Added new audio only rooms, enabling fully voice-based sessions where video features are disabled and all interactions happen through sound.

Added option for participants to request assistance in breakout rooms. Participants in breakout rooms can now trigger a “Request assistance” action. Moderators receive a notification showing which breakout room needs help, with a quick option to join that room instantly.

Fixed issue where the “Your cam and mic are blocked” notification appeared for attendees joining a breakout room directly via token.
