Whiteboard autosave
In rooms without the content library enabled, including end-to-end encrypted rooms, your most recent whiteboard now saves automatically, so you can bring it back with Restore latest whiteboard if you close it by mistake or come back to the room later.

Unmute by default
When attendees are given broadcast permission, their camera and microphone now default to on. They can still turn either off at any time.

Transcription language at a glance
When transcription starts, a notification now shows which language the session is being transcribed in, with a shortcut straight to the transcription settings if it needs changing.

Change participant roles through the API
Promote a viewer or change anyone's role in a live session straight from your own backend with a new REST endpoint, and the new role applies in the room immediately with no need to leave and rejoin.

Recording bookmarks through the API
Mark key moments during a recording from your own integration with a new endpoint for adding recording bookmarks, alongside the existing bookmark option for moderators in the room.

Transcription webhooks
New transcription_started and transcription_stopped webhook events mirror the recording lifecycle, so your application can show when transcription is in progress during a live session.

Raise the participant limit in a full session
Increasing max_participants through the API now takes effect straight away in a live session that has already reached its limit, so the next person can join instead of being turned away.

A pinned chat panel now appears correctly in recordings instead of showing as an empty box.

Custom tiles keep their state
Custom tiles added through the SDK no longer reload when expanded or collapsed.

Organisers can now choose whether registrations are approved automatically or reviewed manually, then approve or decline registrants one by one or all at once from the Registrants list.

A new Registration closes setting lets organisers pick a date and time after which the registration page stops accepting new sign-ups.

Set a registration limit so sign-ups stop automatically once all places are filled.
