From 21–23 January 2026, London’s ExCeL Centre once again became the global hub for education technology as BETT UK 2026 welcomed thousands of educators, innovators and EdTech professionals from around the world. BETT, which is one of the most influential education technology exhibitions and conferences, managed to bring together multinational organisations, pioneering startups and sector leaders to inspire, connect and discuss the future of learning.
Digital Samba was proud to be part of this year’s show, exhibiting on the ICEX (Spanish Chamber of Commerce) delegation stand in North Hall, Stand NC40, where we presented Digital Samba for Education, our European-centric, fully embeddable virtual classroom solution designed to modernise digital learning experiences in any platform or LMS.

Throughout BETT 2026, the Digital Samba stand was a vibrant meeting point for educators, product leaders and technology decision-makers curious about next-generation virtual learning. Attendees were particularly interested in how Digital Samba’s platform combines high-quality embedded video classrooms with interactive tools, such as live chat, polls, shared whiteboards and breakout rooms, all delivered through secure, GDPR-aligned EU infrastructure that can be seamlessly integrated via API or LTI connectors.
The opportunity to meet participants in person, including educators exploring embedded classroom capabilities as well as LMS and application providers assessing how to enrich their platforms, resulted in numerous insightful conversations and promising follow-ups post-show.
BETT 2026 lived up to its reputation as a must-attend forum for educational innovation. With more than 600 exhibitors and 400 speakers spanning global EdTech trends, the event offered a vibrant mix of product showcases, expert panels, and thought leadership sessions.
Some of the standout themes and moments included:
Keynotes and sessions throughout the show examined how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are reshaping classroom practice. For example, discussions at BETT emphasised the importance of harnessing AI to support teachers and learners rather than simply automating tasks, such as in a fireside conversation where Google and Khan Academy highlighted AI tutoring tools designed with teacher agency at the forefront.
Beyond classroom-level tools, broader sector challenges were explored. Conversations about widening skills gaps in the era of AI attracted attention from investors and industry leaders alike, underscoring the need for education systems to evolve in response to changing labour markets and digital skills demands.
Across the exhibition floor, a range of EdTech solutions demonstrated just how dynamic and varied the ecosystem has become. From hands-on STEM and robotics kits engaging younger learners to interactive displays powered by new hardware platforms, there was no shortage of innovation on show.
BETT’s continued prominence lies in its ability to bring together educators, policymakers, investors and technology providers under one roof. Covering everything from primary and secondary education to higher education and lifelong learning, the event fosters connections that extend far beyond its three-day run.
For Digital Samba, participating at BETT UK 2026 was a valuable opportunity not only to demonstrate our embedded virtual classroom capabilities to a global audience, but also to engage directly with those shaping the future of education - from institutions looking to modernise digitally to EdTech partners seeking deeper integrations.
In the weeks following BETT, the conversations and leads generated at Stand NC40 are set to translate into partnerships, pilot projects and ongoing dialogues with education professionals worldwide. As the EdTech landscape continues to evolve, Digital Samba remains committed to bringing European-centric, integration-friendly virtual classroom solutions to organisations that want engaging, secure and future-ready learning experiences.
We’re already looking forward to BETT 2027, where we hope to build on this year’s momentum and continue advancing how learning happens in the digital age.
