Lanser, the leading Corporate Language Training organisation in Spain, held their first Forum for Human Resources professionals: Business & English: Internationalisation and English as a Strategic Factor in Bilbao recently.

Taking over the Maritime Museum for the day, Lanser provided the participating managers and consultants with a full programme of activities. These were designed to help training experts come to terms with the special characteristics that efficient and effective language training for the corporate environment requires.

With talks by top HR and training people from companies like Iberdrola, Deloitte or Ingeteam on their needs and solutions, collaborative dialogues among ad hoc teams run by Lanser MD Simon Gardner and a talk on the use of the OnSync webmeeting software in training by Robert Strobl of Digital Samba followed by a round table discussion led on to a late lunch before finishing for the day.

Participant feed-back was incredibly positive with 100% of respondents saying they would like to be invited again next year and that they would recommend with out reserve the Forum to professional colleagues.

Lanser are already planning the 2nd Forum which will take place on October 15th 2012 and expect this year to be over-subscribed.
